The PM Surya Ghar subsidy is capped at ₹78,000, however large the system. It also requires DCR panels, which typically cost about ₹12,000 more per kW. The bigger the system, the more that premium outweighs the subsidy.
The ₹12,000 per kW difference is typical, not fixed, and panel prices change. At 5 kW and below, subsidy usually works out better, which is why TerraEnerG 3K and 5K are subsidy systems.

Solar panels slowly generate a little less power each year — that's normal. So every 5 years, we lower the guaranteed number by 5% and guarantee it fresh, for another 5 years. Renew your AMC, and your generation guarantee renews with it. Skip the renewal, and the guarantee simply doesn't continue — the numbers below become long-term projections instead.
These numbers become guaranteed again each time you renew your AMC. Without renewal, they're projections, not guarantees. Actual generation depends on sunlight, shading, and site conditions.

Yes. Non-subsidy systems earn ₹3.8 per exported unit against ₹2.2 for subsidy systems. BESCOM does not bank units any more, so the best value still comes from using your own power.
